Saturday:
The previous day's weights with the seniors was pretty heavy, could feel shoulders feeling abit achey.
Kallang Basin was overly crowded as usual, more enemy skirmishes, and worse, minor collisions during sets. Dunno why those Crescent girls school char bohs like to park their boats sideways right in the middle of the basin... walau... Perhaps next time instead of saying "excuse me!" or "T2 watch out!" I should just scream "OMIGOD?!" Bwahahaha... going nuts.
Jag wasn't around, but nevertheless, had a fun time pacing with some hwachong and rjc boats. Sun was merciless... and perhaps drank too much water till felt abit like throwing up... so I got to sit on the pontoon for a couple of sets. But was up and going against the k2 again after awhile.
Went to suntec to eat with the canoeists after training. The Teppan Yaki was not bad, and still ended off with my beef ball soup, and got to try some of Charmaine's Korean spicy beef soup! Damnit... it was awesome....
Headed to school with Yongqiang to do weights, and ended up helping to clear the piano ensemble booth first. My lovely A0 size Arts for All banner got stolen for some reason... dunno who are the cockheads who stole my beauty... why the heck they decided to steal something so huge is beyond me.
Tianhong was nearby so I jio'd him to join us for dinner later, and he arrived in school while I was still doing weights. Then we set the crickets and maggots from the open house booth game free in NYP. Darren was afraid we might upset the eco-system or ecology of our beautiful campus so we only set the crickets free in the bushes around the track, and put the maggots in the dustbin.
Left school with Tianhong to meet Jeremy and Winston at Bugis to play some CS. Got so owned... then while waiting for Willy I ran over to play mvc2 and met up with the old Shoryuken bunch. Bluemilk was getting owned as usual haha :p, and Nate's gay long hair is now gone because he's in army lol.
Then they had to leave to eat dinner so I ran to meet the guys for dinner. Had fish porridge and chicken chop... mmmm...
Talked alot of cock, was damn fun. Then headed home and we watched scary movie 3.
Thus ended Valentines day, a good day spent with good friends. It was good to be out with Hong again, last few V days we spent training in school, hahaha. It may not be better or worse then a couple of years ago when I went out with her, its just different, but still nice. After all, what else is there to do on Valentines day when you're single?
Some people tell themselves why they aren't missing out on some things, but in the end do we succeed in fooling ourselves? Do we really have to come up with facts or thoughts to console ourselves if there isn't anything to console or miss in the first place?
Just know why you are where you are and enjoy it. And if you don't, then make a change for yourself.
But do I need her? No. I'm not going to put myself through that again.
