Not sure how to describe this week so far... familiar or nostalgic likely.

Had canoeing sea training on hari raya monday morning, tied 2, won 1 and lost 2 sest to jag. Then we crazily decided to do a T2 together and suprised sensei at the starting line and the pull was insane, glide was heavenly and power was eruptive! And we totaly trashed the K2 hahaha :p

Then we went eat at suntec. The korean food there aint too great. But the beef ball soup still kicks ass! The dragonboaters called from sentosa, said the weather sucked so they wanted to catch a movie instead. So met up with them at cineleisure to watch cheaper by the dozen. Damn funny show. I just love how they played that exagerrated choral piece during the climax of the show.

But anyway before that I went looking around for the shoryuken gang. Eventualy spotted something familiar at orchard emerald. Textbook 5X air hyper viper beams, sentinal force infinites, and captain commando helper mashers. Yeap, this had to be the latest generation of players from shoryuken. Watched awhile more and found out that they had found out a couple of new strategies, but no traps, hahhaa how sad... Challenged a couple of them for a few matches, won a tiny few and lost alot. Hrm... controller on the left side was acting a little funny. Then I heard a familiar name behind me. Looked behind and sure enough, saw kirk.

Hahaha that stupid ass is like some sort of big shot to the new guys. Its well earned though. His mags was always rivalling with Nate's for number one rushdown spot anyway. He then proceeded to thrash the new guys until they left and I got to play against him. Managed to get some familiar feel with my old trap team and discovered some new strategies against his stupid rushdown whores. Won a couple, lost a couple. He's crazy. He just went, "hey help me finish my credits", and spammed the machine's credit button with his card so we played 12 of his credits. It felt damn great playing against him again, some games just never get outdatted, like some sports. I can't believe that after 4 years, everything about that game is still fresh after a couple of matches.

While we were walking down the street to meet our friends, I saw a couple more familiar faces, a couple of boys from st gab's synergy camp... but crap, couldn't remember his name... he always called himself colby and me shaq and gave non-stop commentation during our practice matches.

Met up with Louie for a swim on tuesday. He said he hasn't swam in ages, but I can't remember the last time someone made me kick that hard to overtake him. This ri/hwachong tahaner/canoeist who hasn't swam in what, half/one year and detests training still posesses a scary amount of stamina.

Me: "You've gotten better."
Louie: "But still not enough to beat you."

Louie's a tough nut to crack sometimes. Its hard to read what he's thinking sometimes because he's so familiar with reading other people himself that he automatically creates false mirrors of himself. But in the end, its through feeling that you can understand some people. I guess thats why I can talk to him and we click so well. We're alike.

1am... argh... ZZZZZZzzzzzzzz...........
