Tonight's run yielded a few pleasant suprises.
Firstly, no shin and knee pains, in a long time. I finally experienced an oxygen high since... I can't remember when. When you feel your legs ache but you just don't care because each breath you take in feels so good, and you just want to take deep breaths, and keep going.
At the end of my 4km I noticed the fitness corner looked particular misty, probably because ot drizzled slightly earlier and it had left the air around the grass and trees surrounding the small concrete section particularly saturated and cool.
What I didn't expect, was the huge clouds of smoke I suddenly noticed as I lay down on my spread jersey on the wooden situp bench. Then to my suprise, the bellows of smoke were being emitted from ME.
Thoroughly amused, I proceeded to wave my arms around very slowly, forming curtains of smoke, or I'd hold crunch position and smoke would rise and fall around the tip of my elbow like a volcano's crater.
By the end of my 200th crunch I was really smoking. But alas, all good things must come to an end, and I begun my journey home.
Bonus attachment is pretty fun so far. This company rocks, my colleagues are a fun bunch to hang around with, and Ivan's an excellent leader. He would share his vision to me for each project. He insists that there's no boss around the company, and that they work as a team. And apparantly such a take on running a company works pretty well. He reminds me alot like Robin from EnvRea.
Designers who know how they work best, know how other people work best and will want to fascilitate that environment for their company.
I'm not regretting my decision to take this path at all. Even though its difficult to arrange for training on weekdays. But the musical was so worthwhile to add to portfolio, and come august, I can begin training for the national squad and to beat AW. Figures my next target is singapore's fastest canoeist.
He's so huge... damnit. But I'll be ahead soon.
