Heh, faith makes it seem like what I've done was a big deal. I don't think so. It's still not enough. Looking at how the top members of some of the other teams train... I've got such a long way to go for running. Damn runners knee last semester... I'd probably be up there by now, but now I have to work up from a mediocre position now. Last semester's 2.4 timing with injured knee = 11:20minutes. *pukes* Damnit... Need to train smarter and get up there as fast as possible.

Did more research on kayaking strokes. Interesting how formal gold medallists like Rossi have their hands cross over their body during the punch, when Samantha said to not pass half of your body. I'll have to ask her about that I guess. More research on Plyometric training too. I'm going to try and incorporate my burst dragon boat stroke into my canoeing stroke. A snapping pull right after a the push forward, which would be the punch, in this case. Wait... that may lead to a little too much splashing upon the catch... ah heck, I'll have to try it out on saturday. But this is definitely an area worth looking into. I remember during taekwondo training we were taught about the reverse snap after the snap to be equally important in the kick, so that it will double your force. And it works out theoretically in physics too, due to contact force and etc...

Going to do chest and plyometrics with Stephen in school later.
