Had a long discussion with caroline about the upcoming piano ensemble recital in september. She wanted to have 80% classical because "Piano ensemble needs to have a classical image". Sheesh, don't bother about the image lei. Luckily I called her yesterday and found out about all her plans for the recital before she had gone furthur or even finalizes stuff without discussing with me first. Hahaha, She's very... "planful"(?) indeed.

I didn't want to enforce any genre restriction because I am strongly against the playing of the piano to act like a robot for the olden american classical composers. Stupid geezers. But yeah, most pop sounds converted to the piano lack any desired technical proficiency suitable for a performance. All in all, we both agree to want to support any compositions or custom arrangements/fusions in the performing team for any performances. I'm glad she can agree, since she has composed some pieces of her own, too.

Some bad news, just got a call from Jonny. Apparantly Ivan said something about ME wanting to change the dragonboat training days to weds and fris (?!). When I only asked if we could ask him to open the weights room for EXTRA training on those days. What a uber miscommunication. Ben was like confused and asked Jonny to find out whats going on. Glad I cleared things up with Jonny. I just hope Ben doesn't think I'm trying anything funny, like taking training days into my own hands or something. That's insane. Like, he already said that time "I don't mind you joining the canoeing team, but at least, keep me informed." He must think I'm doing some funny things in between the two teams. I mean, Dragonboating is my first priority. And I only want to make Ben proud, but sometimes... it's just weird to talk with him.

More bad news. By the time Stephen went to book the courts in the afternoon, everything was fully booked. Shiiitty crap. If teh badminton team is havnig training today we can just forget our plans about playing. I hope its a staff reservation, tho. They hardly fill up all the courts. I was slightly annoyed that Stephen refused to book the only open 5-6 slot, just so that any other group who would want to book it wouldn't add to the crowd in the hall, since we are looking for someone's empty space, rite? Ugh, I guess he had a tiring lecture or something. Nevermind, we'll play by ear.

Come to think of it, I think like... 80% of my this log consists of training days extra training days. Its not like don't have a life outside of training or the piano ensemble... but... here at attachment, there's really nothing interested to say.

Been pretty slow today, so I did up the recruitment poster for the dragonboat team. Rather nice, I must say. Am now working on the concert poster for the upcoming piano ensemble recital.

Wahaha... will sneak in some time to work on MUGEN too... *snickers*
