Hmmm... Caroline called. Apparantly, Mr Ong, the section head of the school of IT asked her if the piano ensem could perform for the graduation ceremony. She's ecstatic. Probably because she can perform for her beloved tianhong again. Problem is, he asked for us to play for up to 1 hour, and he asked for students from the school of IT and Design only. That makes... Caroline, Joshua, and me so far. To play for 1 hour. That's like, quite a big stretch for us. Usually for concerts we have about 8 pianists to play for 45 minutes. Going to have to start recalling all the pieces we've played previously I guess.
Went to do wts at bishan gym with Dylon and Stephen yesterday. Did chest with Dylon while Stephen did arms cuz his "neh" is too big already. Ahahaha.
Dylon kept up pretty well, for having not trained so long.

Went to eat with them later, talking cock and whatnot. Had a blast.
Then went home to the broken-stringed violin, since the shop was probably closed then. Weiheng said something about tightening the bow. After much staring and analyzing the bow, I have found out that yes, you can screw the bottom to tighten the hairs. Just kept tightening it until it couldn't tighten anymore and I was afraid I'll snap something again. Tried to play... scratchy sound. So, aha! The wax! The more wax I applied to the bow, the nicer the sound seemed to be, so I furiously rubbed the bow for about 5-10 minutes until when I played white powder would drop onto the violin. Ahh... but the sound was good.
All I need is to buy a new set of strings and fix it up and I can start practicing.
Then joyce called late at night. Seems one from her team for the Amazing Singapore Race has ruptured. So after thinking about it for a while... I agreed to join up with them. D'oh. Then I found out that its on the weekend of the canoeing nationals. Crap, I wanna watch! I'll have to rush down to watch after the race on Sunday then. *sigh* Look up, Reu, it'll be fun.
